The Taymount Clinic and Training School for Colon Hydrotherapy is situated at Capel Grange - a large country house sitting on the outskirts of the town of Hitchin, in Hertfordshire. 

The views from the house are out over open fields and Hertfordshire countryside.  Never a hardship to gaze upon!  We see stunning sunsets and you can almost believe the sky belongs to you here.  Very calming and peaceful surrounding in which to relax, unwind and detox or study and grow into a new career.

This is the consulting room which also serves as the students' private evening lounge during training courses.  Pleasant pastel shades of eau de nil and taupe and Laura Ashley soft furnishings make for a very calming and relaxing room, looking out over the bird feeders for a glimpse of our many varied and lively feathered visitors to the Capel Grange gardens.

This room is the library at the Taymount clinic.  There are many books on the subject of health, psychology, personal growth and philosophy.  There is also a large collection of contemporary DVDs covering modern eating habits and associated documentaries and fascinating issues around health, weight, pharmaceuticals and other contentious issues!

This is the teaching area, part of the bright and airy demonstration kitchen and garden room.  The large oak table provides room for up to 12 but elbow and books room for 6 comfortably.  We don't book more than 5 students to any of our courses at any one time to ensure plenty of quality tutor time and plenty of elbow room!

This is one of our two colonic suites and it has privacy, ensuite shower room and a beautiful view over the open countryside.  The rooms are equipped with the world's best-selling closed system colon hydrotherapy machines (Dotolo Research) and have plenty of room for silent witness students during training.

This room is called Pirton as it looks out over the fields between the clinic and the nearest village several fields away.

The room has its own bathroom, wardrobes, twin beds which can be made up as a superking sized double for couples.  Pleasant, west facing, it offers superb sunset views over Hertfordshire countryside.

This room is called Ickleford as it looks out over the fields in a southerly direction, back towards Hitchin and the village of Ickleford.  This room is east and south facing so it gets first view of the dawn light and is frequently lit by the golden pink light of a new day dawning.

It has its own ultra-modern shower room and twin beds which can be made up as a superking sized bed for couples.  Plenty of wardrobe space and seating/relaxing area.

In addition to these rooms, we have a large community lounge which seats up to 12 people for film screenings, meetings and seminars.  We have activities like celebrity speakers, drum meditation and yoga sessions.

We have a large demonstration kitchen which seats up to 12 people to watch juicing, raw food preparation or equipment demonstrations with ease and comfort.  See our next events on the menu to the left.
