I am a qualified Naturopath and natural health expert.
My Education
I began working with clients for weight loss and weight management over 25 years ago as an advisor for a proprietary weight loss product, working from home whilst my three children were small. This work revealed a passion for learning and helping people improve their health, especially digestive health, beyond the scope of weight loss. I realised I needed to learn more, so that I could assist people in their quest for better health, more energy and improved living.
I had improved my own health beyond all recognition by changing my diet in a few very simple but far-reaching ways. For years, I had been a yo-yo dieter and had been dogged with depression following the birth of my first daughter in 1974. Hindsight and further studying has since shown me that the yo-yo dieting certainly did not help the depression and played havoc with my digestive and metabolic systems. Food sensitivity testing revealed that I had to stop eating certin foods (wheat, dairy etc) and when I did this, I dropped 18lbs in 18 weeks, felt 20 years younger and I have not been bothered by depression since (20 years now!). This motivated me to learn even more to see if I was an exception or whether other people are needlessly suffering from chronic conditions which could be eradicated by simple measures like changing the diet.

My Research
I am currently researching the effects of Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy and writing a training course for Beauty and Holistic Therapists in Hormone Rebalancing for Optimal Health and Rejuvenation.
My previous research into arthritis showed that Glucosamine and Chondroitin combined with a more alkaline diet, can regenerate new healthy tissue and halt disease. For full details of the Freedom from Arthritis Diet, please see Taymount Glucosamine.
My Teaching
Teaching has always been a passion of mine: if you are lucky enough to have knowledge, it is deepened and enhanced when you have the privilege to share it with others.
My teaching experience began in the 1980s when I taught my downline team of health advisors to counsel and support their customers. When I was at home with my three small daughters, I set up a workshop teaching Porcelain Doll-making (my three little girls were very happy about all that dolly-stuff!), and many happy ladies went home clutching their precious handmade porcelain dolls.
I taught Psychology to mature students on the Access to Higher Education course at West Herts College, Watford, gaining my City & Guilds teacher training qualfication during this time.
At home, I am currently teaching Biology to my 9-year old grandson, Daniel. He wants to be a marine biologist and he needs all the help I can give him as this is a highly competitive field and we want him to be in with a good chance.
I am teaching a number of different complementary modalities in the Taymount Therapist Training College, including Anatomy & Physiology, Colonic Hydrotherapy, Nutrition, Hormone Rebalancing and others.
